Amruta Sagdeo Tribal Artist

Amruta Sagdeo

Amruta Sagdeo is a banker by profession and an artist by passion. Deeply inspired by the indigenous art forms of India, she works to promote and preserve tribal paintings, with a special focus on traditional styles including Warli, Gond, Madhubani, fusions and other art forms.

Her artistic practice reflects the harmony of community life, nature and folklore. Through exhibitions, workshops and local collaborations, she works to bring visibility to timeless art forms and connect them with wider audiences.

Her Warli compositions use geometric shapes such as circles, triangles and lines to depict festivals, farming, tea culture and community gatherings. Her work preserves tribal expression while introducing contemporary themes.

Smita Singh Contemporary Artist

Smita Singh

Smita Singh is a self-taught Indian contemporary artist whose relationship with painting began in childhood. With over 17 years of experience across print and digital media, publishing and education, painting has gradually become her primary mode of expression.

Deeply inspired by nature, she explores subtle rhythms, textures and constant transformation. The bark of trees, delicate leaf structures, seasonal shifts and patterns found in nature become recurring motifs in her work.

Her current body of work explores the geometry of tree rings through vibrant colour palettes, layered textures and evolving abstract forms. These works reflect themes of growth, resilience, memory and the passage of time.
